I emailed them last week about this helmet, they said they will have the final price at the end of this week. So the 845 may not be the final price yet...
good point... nobody want to crash his brand new bike the first time on the track. And about pussying your bike around the track that may be true if you compare what you could do with a bike that you aren't afraid falling with, but than still taking your bike to a track means you'll be able to...
race bikes are definitively cheaper. For someone who visits the track often that would be best thing to do. But what about all the other days that you aren't on the track??? (for those of us who haven't too much cash to spend that's probably one step too far
It doesn't make sense to use racing as a benchmark. Those bikes are so different from street versions... Besides that, while one team is just entering racing the others have so many years of experience. I have to give credits to BMW for improving so fast, they have become serious title...

totally agree... me to. Besides the numbers and the expert´s opinion I think it´s especially because of peoples´ design taste and Ducati history (like mercedes and bmw cars) that people will like whatever Ducati comes out as long as it looks nice and it has Ducati on it. Don't get me wrong...
That's the funny thing. In all these tests the S1000RR comes out best, both on the track and on the street. But usually when you ask fellow riders which one they like the most the Panegale is probably the most popular one amongst "ordinairy" riders. Why is that, because of the Ducati brand? It's...
