Weird, I also come from an R6 ( 2008 ) haven't tried the 1x98 but did take the 848 for a test ride. And was amazed by it, completely different machine then the r6 and much better in every sense. Much better breaks, low/mid-range is awesome, so is the torque. Also much better handling bike then...

Rode all those bikes apart from the gsxr. You cant go wrong with the duc 848, great engine, L twin, great looks, amazing breaks...
