Yup... It's ********. We're basically have a long drawn out dry winter. It won't be proper riding season until May at this rate, the salt will be out in full force tomorrow evening.
10 mins into my Sunday ride, the clutch lever went completely dead as I tried downshifting. Totally limp and flopping around (lol). The cable moved at both ends so it seems it's something internal to the clutch case/actuator itself.
Was stoked to go out this afternoon. Sure enough, 10 mins into the ride my clutch lever went limp as an 80yr old. Checked the cable's connections and its good. Looks like something broke in the clutch case itself.
Only 300km on this thing lol. Fun times lay ahead.
Check the insurance subforum. This topic is beaten to death. There is no single cheap insurance agent or company. It all varies from one person's profile to the next. You simply have to call around as many as you can and/or use a broker.
Good luck.
PS. Spending $320/month on insuring a bike...
Yeah :( It's depressing. We enjoyed a mild winter only to have it prolonged into April...
Next week doesn't call for any significant rains either. It's a shitshow.
Doesn't look like any real solid rain is headed our way but that can change rather quickly. I still don't see it happening before the month is out. I hope I'm proven wrong!
