    Walking Dead (Spoliers)

Re: Walking Dead Always have a finger crossed that someday, some show will adapt what Michone did with her pet walkers and remove the arms and teeth of the walkers, and then use them to ______ (insert something intelligent here). Packmules were cool, but SOMEONE must have a better idea to...

    Furnace filter question

Returns (especially for recent houses) are typically a white register that is larger than a regular register on the floor. Also either above the baseboard or high up on the wall on the second floor.

Motorcycle storage tips for tight garage

Freeing up floorspace and getting tools/crap off the ground and up vertically by way of shelves, storage racks is the only way to go. All the bright ideas will be posted on garagejournal.com (Visit at your own risk: you may never get off the site, and spend far too much money after a few hours...

    New Helmet Technology

/uninformed-opinion: SNELL is always required in automotive racing. The higher SNELL standards need to be able to sustain hits on rollcages and so on. It never really made sense since you'd think a motorcyclist's noggin would be more susceptible to big wacks, but that was how it was explained to...

Removing scratches from Ninja 250 Windscreen

If the plastic headlights on my former 2001 civic are anywhere similiar, you really don't have a GREAT option. Sanding will get rid of any UV coating that will net you yellowing plastic in a few months Plastic polish works so-so if you have a professional machine (orbital or rotary) The only...

Just got a voicemail from a police officer warning me about my driving

Don't worry, a voicemail is way informal and more like a "time-out" in preschool. Do one worse, and you'll get a letter from your local division--an official letter with badge numbers and name of officer. Last fall, there was an uber-****** that was riding the left lane of the 404 going maaaybe...

Anyone else a huge fan of the pumpkin beers like myself??

But can we agree on one thing? A man with a 'beer', any beer, is better than a man, with no-beer. :)

Real Estate Agents: any that you can recommend?

While acoustically treating a room is certainly not cheap, it isn't the most expensive thing to do either--especially if you own. Putty-packs for the outlets, new drywall with the green-glue for absorbtion, and a big 'decorative' rug hung on a 'hot-zone' will do wonders for minimizing noise...

    Shipping outside of GTA

Lots of people on kijiji will do it.. but if it is indeed rare, you might want to consider a company with insurance. Or if possible, go ride it back home. If too uncomfortable, get a night at a hotel for less than $150, and still come out on top vs shipping with a company.
