SMP Trackday - Monday, July 9th

Agreed. If up and moving, I wouldn't expect the session to be stopped for me. Unless my bike was in an impact zone. However, I would immediately pick it up and move it if I was able. If not, it probably means I need the ambulance. Ultra_09: had you picked your bike back up? If so, they may...

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Dark-skinned guy in t-shirt and jeans on a black, red, and silver CBR600F2 heading eastbound on the 401 in Scarborough yesterday (Thursday) around 5:30PM. You NEED to do something about the cam chain tensioner on your bike. I was about 60 feet away from you in the express passing lane, and...

    Mosport (rdt) Gpbikes

Would you also consider changing your policy on antifreeze being allowed? A person could circulate for some time laying down coolant before they realize they have a problem. I've personally seen this. Thankfully for the rider (and those following), he was using water and water-wetter only.

    Mosport (rdt) Gpbikes

I don't understand that logic. Changing the coolant is easier than changing the oil and takes about the same amount of time. If antifreeze actually is allowed, I'll stay away from these days in the future. One overheating bike could have serious consequences.

    Mosport (rdt) Gpbikes

Shop is closed today unfortunately. I may just show up and take my chances. I'd like to reiterate that everyone should have either straight water, or water plus water-wetter. I haven't read GPBikes' trackday policies recently, but I'd be shocked if they didn't indicate that antifreeze must...

    Mosport (rdt) Gpbikes

Did anyone get an idea of how much space was left when they signed up? I was thinking about showing up and registering the morning of (if I can get the bike ready to go). I emailed Jeff at GPBikes yesterday, but haven't received a reply.

Can you explain the math behind your calculation of the per resident expenditure? The population of Attawapiskat has apparently fluctuated between 1,300 and 1,700 people over the last 7 years.

I don't think that a single CSBK weekend is a very significant blip on the Mosport owner's radar.

    place to powdercoat spoked rims?

The rims are true at the moment, and with the limited use the bike is likely to see, I don't anticipate having to true them again any time soon.

    Shannonville - Monday 19th

I logged on to the Pro6 website to check how many spots were left in each group (thinking of showing up at the track in the morning and registering). The site shows lots of spots for tomorrow, but has "No availability" under the trackday status. You can't check the box to do an online...

Honda steering head castle nut tool

Hello, Does anyone have a Honda steering head "castle" or nut tool that they would be willing to lend / rent? It is used on what Honda calls a "BOLT, FLANGE (8X45)" that threads on to the steering stem. I believe that part number is 07916-3710100, and is used for many different models. Thanks,
