Christmas bump...

Dropped by Cosmo last weekend to check out the tenor saxes... after a few hours of testing, walked out with a Yamaha YTS-82ZIIVB Limited Edition Vintage Bronze Lacquer tenor sax.

Also included are the factory and Clymer shop manual and complete copy of microfiche...

The Selmer tenor is out of my price range, at this time, so, I am looking into the Yamaha tenor saxophones. I will be visiting Cosmo music soon to see what they have in Yamahas and test them out... looking at the EX or Z lines, as you mentioned.

I play the sax; mainly standards and smooth jazz... I own a Selmer Soprano, Selmer Alto, and a Jupiter Tenor. Will up grade the tenor soon. Learning to play the clarinet, as well.

I use my legs and knees to support my weight instead of my arms and shoulders all the time. The legs are much stronger and will last a lot longer than ones arms and shoulders! You'll ride more relaxed if the weight is off the arms and shoulders. Give it a try, you'll get used to it...
