Family wants me to sell bike after family members daeth

Every few days when I see my mother, she tells me the same thing: "I heard there was an accident involving a motorcyclist, the man died. Motorcycles are very dangerous, you have to be stupid to continue riding one ...." She actually told me about your uncle's death, of course I didn't know...

Anyone started on small bikes and continued riding small bikes ?

Yes, potentially One thing I learned, be it on a bike or car, is that you need power to accelerate out of a problem at times. This is an area where 250CC is inadequate

Anyone started on small bikes and continued riding small bikes ?

Holy ****! You must be riding it every day long distances. My thought, there is no real need for massive engine sizes on bikes. 500 CC is plenty for anyone, where does the need for 1.5L engines come from? I had a Toyota Echo, it had a 1.5 L engine, and it was drivable That is a ridiculous...

Anyone started on small bikes and continued riding small bikes ?

Guys Just curious, any of the more experienced riders, perhaps with 2+ years of experience still on small bikes 250-300 cc? With my limited experience, I find small bikes are light and easy to maneuver and toss around, particularly at slower speeds. Perhaps it is because I have little...

Stories how safety gear saved you or how you wish you wore some

Just curious. Used to ride my brother's Rebel wearing sandals and shorts. After getting my M2 with a safety course, realized the potential consequences and now wear a leather suit in most cases. Interesting about the back protector, I guess it can save your spine if you hit anything with...

Stories how safety gear saved you or how you wish you wore some

Guys Might be interesting to read stories how you may have went down and how your gloves, jacket, whatever, saved you, or the other way around, how you regretted not wearing some.

New Rider, First bike: Which one??? (Guide to choosing your first ride)

TD Meloche Monnex seems to have low rates. Riders Plus insure with an M1 and training course. TD do not. Cheap gear is in Oshawa, store called ReGear. Various stores around the city selling gear. Kijiji can be useful of course.

Who rides too seldom due to fear of traffic ?

I did accept the risk when I got my bike. However, I am trying to minimize it, by not going out when and where it is probably more dangerous. And judging by some other responses, I am not the only one. Of course, one cannot predict anything, but still.
