people that talk **** about a 400r has never riden one in their life. Bikes are design to add +400 pounds on the bike, so im not sure how the other poster things the frame is too heavy. The weight probably makes the bike 0.001% slower.

sticking to the up right position bike eh? I would go ER-6N or FZ6R. but between both of those i'd say ER-6N is a badass upright position bike.

I think just the linkage fell off. edit: after taking a closer look in the day, looks like it just got unscrewed. the bike doe have vibration and probably or mostly slowly unscrewed until it fell off. This is my guess now after looking at it now during the day.

What do you mean? So the guy was wearing a helmet? Hitting your head into a guard rail will make a difference if you were wearing a helmet vs not wearing a helmet.
