Yes I have done this many times, back in the 70s & 80s, but as far as I understand things today, if the bike has a CPU, yr fekd, because if the battery is flat, it cannot power the CPU, so no fuel gets delivered, and no spark either. Don't ya just LOVE this modern technology:(
