As for the mods, motosliders frame sliders from svracingparts.com, rear shock(I have a zx6r 636 shock on mine, night and day difference) change the internals on your front suspension or gsxr 600/750 front end conversion, the suspension on the sv is garbage...

    The stock size is 160/60zr17, you can fit a 170 but it will be pinched and look smaller than a 160.     How were your nerves ..

    I got my wife to drive behind me. I just remembered everything I learned at the course and was fine(caused a lot of traffic behind me and annoyed my wife lol) also I picked up my bike the day after I finished the course which made it a little easier.
