Go with Humber - they have a new fleet of the Honda CBR 125s, super easy to ride. They have 3 locations in the GTA. The instructors are very patient and the course is tax deductible - beacuse its counted as a post secondary course - you get a tax reciept from it.
I've taken different courses...
Try SV650 - nice bike.
Now for the rest - go to Humber- sign up for the course. Boot around on their brand new CBR125s - get your M2. Write it off on your income tax next year.
It could be a lot of things - liability? Their CSC certification? Anything. Or maybe just the cost of running the program. I wonder if their program was tax deductible.
I went for a full custom look at one point -but after jetting the carbs, VH long shots with viper tips on open baffles, cone intake with a K and N the bike got really tempermental - so kept the jets and exhaust, took off the filter and cone and it ran better -but to be honest, regular OEM filter...
Don't -it will cause more problems than it's worth. You can check out the mods I've done on my bike off my profile - I have a Shadow as well. And to answer your question, yes, I had the cone, and yes - took it off.
I'm back to the stock air box and OEM filter, runs better- K and N sitting in...
The CT jack won't help on the oil changes - the front arm is right under the drain plug.
Use a low cut triangle oil pan (Princess Auto), a 17mm wrench, a filter wrench (princess auto) - that all you need. As for oil - go to Royal and see what they have.
start at the 10 o clock then go to 4o clock position, 2 o clock then 8 and keep going that way. Just keep track of where the bolts cam from and if you're not confident -grab a digital camera and take step by step pics. Good luck
Usually a 17mm wrench is all you need. Hand tighten the bolt and move it a 1/4 turn and that should do it. No real need for a torque wrench.
As for the bolt -have you called Royal to see if they have one there?
