That is some scary **** at 2:00. Looks like a cop pulled him over at the end.. If I`m the guy who got bumped at 2:00, when I see this car stop, the driver is getting a helmet bashed into his face. I wouldn`t mind an assault charge over that.
I have a Scorpion EXO 400, and I love it. I rode it for 10 hours in a row last week.. twice. Didn't feel uncomfortable at any time. Make sure its nice and snug on your face..once they break in they feel perfect. I definitely wanna try the 1000/1100
Yea it did the trip just fine. I'm actually typing this from Queens, gonna leave Sunday morning for Toronto, 9 am lecture on Monday :( Trip has been awesome..still a bit paranoid about the bike..its not in an indoor garage, but behind a house hidden away on private property. Oh well at least its...
I left my house at 9 am, and arrived in Queens, New York at 7:30. That's 10.5 hours.. But I did take many breaks. I wanted to avoid fatigue so I made a rule: Stop and walk around/grab coffee every 200 kms, be off the bike for 20-30 mins or so..regardless of wether or not I was tired.
I was on...
Who says a Ninja 250r can't handle the highway? Cruised at 145-150 easily the entire way here with no problems! Riding in Manhattan is just...wow.
I'll take the clueless asian women of Toronto ANY day. Not only are you dodging cars, but the roads are HORRIBLE. 5-6 inch deep potholes are normal.
Debating between the i90 and the i86, right now I'm leaning towards the 90 because its the new york state throughway (meaning better rest areas etc).. havent been on the 86 in years and cant remember how it is.
Thanks for the input everyone! Definitely going to take breaks every 200 KM's ,regardless of whether or not I'm tired.. I'd rather be proactive about it. All cargo is going to be attached to the back with bungee cords + a cargo net. Is there anywhere local that sells throttle locks? I remember...
I've been tempted to take a long trip this year, but work/school have gotten in the way. This Thursday I'm headed off to New York City on my Ninja 250r, and this will be my longest trip (longest I've done is Toronto to Algonquin park & surrounding area, about 5 hours of riding). Once I get into...
I've ordered from Canada's motorcycle.. had a great experience, the jacket was here in a few days. I've also heard great things about Pete's, people have received their tires within 2 days. I'd say you're safe with going with either one.
Thanks for the input guys. I completely forgot that the 650r isnt surcharged.. But after spending today on a GSXR600 I'm definitely considering going SS :D
Hi,
I'm hoping to upgrade my 250r to a Ninja 650 next season.
I'm only 20 so insurance is a major factor here. Currently paying $2000/year through MM (YorkU discount). Statefarm has these requirements as far as I know:
Licensed for 5 years
Decent driving record (mine is 100% clean so no...
I'd definitely complain..if the bike was new. Who knows, they might send you something to make you happy. Many companies do this, though I'm not sure of Kawasaki specifically.
