Doesn't look that bad. Most of the damage and the worst part seems to be in the tail section. If it's an R6 that subframe should be removable and a new one will bolt on. You would have to check the swingarm for damage but it doesn't look that bad either. Seems the impact popped the tire off the...

Back to the wiring, although it should follow the colours in the wiring diagrams there really is not much of a "universal" standard since the wiring has multiple wires and it would be a PITA to assemble or work on if they were all...
This is a complete set of bodywork for a R6 99-02. This is an aftermarket set. Not perfect but looks good when on. Some pieces have a small scuff here and there but overall in ok shape. Head fairing has a crack and is missing a mounting tab. Complete 12 pieces in all. $250 or B/O.

I have felt your pain, literally. Exact same thing happened to me in '96. Broken left hand and messed up right knee. Your injuries are worse than mine were though. Glad to hear that you are for the most part ok.
I have a R1 front end on my R6 and find that it's not bad for comfort but my hands do tend to fall asleep after about an hour or so. Do you have the same problem?

I have the Yamaha because it gives me a discount on my car insurance because it puts me in the multiple vehicle discount group. Costs me $123 a year and gets me 10% off of my other vehicles. In you case I would guess also that you would be in the $300 to $500 range for insurance.
I have a Yamaha BWS R that I ride and ensure. I can tell you that a 50cc scooter MUST have insurance and you must have at least an LCM license to be able to ride it on the road.
I'm curious as to where people get the idea that you don't need insurance for a scooter under 50cc?
