Actually I was planning to ride there (Lake Joseph), stay overnight and come back on Sunday. Still, it will be around 2-3 degrees at 8-9 in the morning.

Crap ... I was really looking for a nice 2 hour long ride up there.

For sure ... forecast calls for 8-9 degrees and sunny but I'm not sure if roads are still sketchy.

Planning to visit a cottage tomorrow ... anyone knows if roads up there are still covered with salt/sand? Any feedback will be appreciated.

What bigpoppa said ... If you aren't planning long tips I think armored jeans might work the best for you.

I think the only only real solution for distracted driving (texting/social media usage) will be to utilize the same technology to prevent people doing stupid things. If smartphone manufacturers all come together I'm sure they will be able to tackle this problem ... maybe a good starting point...

I'm not sure but it could be a QC issue ... gloves were great on those cooler days around 2-5C. After the rain fiasco I've got Alpinestars Oslo (https://fortnine.ca/en/alpinestars-oslo-drystar-gloves) and I can't be happier.

These aren't waterproof gloves ... my hands got soaked while riding on a rain. I have to admit it was a two hour downpour on a highway but still, gloves were holding on for about 15-20 minutes.

A few years ago while heading west on 401 I noticed a car swerving around ... a female driver was actually changing while moving approximately 120kph. She changed her shirt, jacket and shoes ... to make things worse, she wasn't good looking at all.:mad:
