I think he may have got a moment of locked front wheel over the expansion joint, then it flipped when the front got back on the higher friction asphalt.
I was thinking about doing this... wish I had to be honest. I went to the dealership to buy a van with very low miles and good condition but they sold it in the morning before I arrived.

Speaking of red flags I had something on my mind on the drive home after today I want to rant about.
At the second rider meeting the man in charge told us that the condition of turn 6 wasn't a TMP issue and responsibility of there being coolant on track rests with the riders. I know he crashed...
I've done a little bit of lane splitting on the highway when traffic was stop and go or below 30/40 km/h.... I never had any problems, and to top it off I felt much MUCH safer than sitting in the lineup just hoping the driver behind me is paying enough attention or braked soon enough to not run...
