I order gear from GP bikes before and even when it was a special order, it never took longer than 2 weeks. Maybe your friend can cancel their order and get it from somewhere else.

when i bought my 1-piece from rs-taichi they sent me a measurement sheet to fill out and based on the measurements they would recommend a size. if you want it i can email it to you and you can fill it out and send it to them to see what size works best for you. cheers, Kelvin

kneedragger88 (Ken McAdam) has done winter storage in the past (not sure if he's doing it this year). He'll pick up and drop off your bike, plus I think he'll give you a discount on any mechanical work you need done while it's in storage.
