CBR F4i not starting (video & info inside).

Flushing out old gas won't help clean out carbon... plus they likely wouldn't have known it was carbon buildup until they removed the head. If the compression was that low on all 4 cylinders the only way to clean it up would have been to remove the head. A good mechanic could have easily...

CBR F4i not starting (video & info inside).

Seafoam won't clear that amount of carbon buildup. If it has built up enough that it's preventing the valves from closing then the only way is to manually clean the valves. This can be done at home if you are mechanically inclined, but does require some specialized equipment. I wouldn't...

    Buying Crashed Bike - Checklist

He really wasn't. He's just trying to help prevent you getting in over your head. If you need to ask what to look for, then you may not know enough to fix the bike properly. That being said, if you realize the risks then by all means purchase it after getting it inspected.

    1989 zx7 - missing plastic piece

Look in the dealer / vendor section of this forum and start with the salvage places. There's a few around and one will likely have the piece you need.

Anyone know a place that can fix a radiator leak?

If you aren't able to fix it... I'm pretty sure Bent Bikes in Mississauga has a radiator off an 82 V45 Sabre still. I stripped one for parts and left John the rest of the bike a couple of months ago, radiator was still on the bike and in decent condition.

    honda shadow plug change

I just checked... NGK DPR8EA-9... you will need an 18mm spark plug socket.

    honda shadow plug change

+1 Definitely Metric. Most likely 18mm but I can't say for sure. Take the new plug to Canadian Tire and see which spark plug socket fits.

    Accepting payments for bike sale?

If you're OK with receiving payments and don't mind storing the bike for a few months as he pays it off then I don't see any problems with this deal. Just make sure you set out all the rules in writing at the beginning and have a third party witness it.

i dropped my 2009 hyosung in the car wash and now its not moving

Aslan's answer is most likely right. However... If you were having clutch problems before, this might expand on some other possibilities. When you put it in gear, does the bike jump forward a bit? If it does, this might indicate that the clutch is dragging. Check the free play on the clutch...

    2007 ZZR250 suddenly won't idle

Sounds like the carb jets are all clogged. You can try running it with Seafoam and hopefully that will clear it up. Otherwise, you will need to pull the carbs out and clean em out the old fashioned way.

    Rad fluid leaking

OK... short version of how the cooling system works. You have your closed cooling system with the radiator and the engine. Attached to the top of the radiator is a hose that leads to the overflow tank. Since coolant expands and contracts as it respectively heats and cools it requires that...

    Rad fluid leaking

If you're talking about the overflow tube coming from the overflow tank, then check the level on the overflow. If there's too much fluid in the system, then it will drain out of that overflow tank. If it's coming from a different tube, then you'll need to be more specific.

Electric's or Battery problem - Battery doesn't charge

If there isn't any fluid left you're battery isn't going to work very well at all. Fill it up to the proper level (it'll be marked on the battery) with distilled water and then charge it fully.

CBR125 Turn Signals Always On - Don't Blink

Yes, it's a single unit that flashes both right and left. If the OP can determine that all the signal lights are working then it's much more likely that it's the turn signal relay (flasher unit) itself. It's very common for these to fail and very easy and cheap to get a replacement. Starting...

CBR125 Turn Signals Always On - Don't Blink

If both the front and back signal lights are coming on, then the lights themselves are fine. If that's the case then start with replacing the turn signal relay.

Gas tank touch up paint where to get?

You might be able to find the exact match through this company http://www.colorrite.com but it is a bit pricey. You can always try one of the Canadian Tire Duplicolour paints, but getting a close match will be a craps shoot... you might get lucky though!

    Removing spark plugs

That puppy definitely looks corroded on. Penetrating oil should make a big difference. One thing you can do to help it along as someone already suggested is to run the engine briefly... the vibrations will help the oil penetrate. You don't need it to get hot, just run it for 30 seconds or so...

    Removing spark plugs

Try taking the spark plugs out when the engine is warm... NOT hot... run it a few minutes, let it sit for a few minutes and then carefully try and remove them again. I don't want to insult your intelligence, but just in case... counter-clockwise to remove. When you do swap them out, be careful...

    Toronto Cyclists

Definitely enough blame to go around for all drivers of all sorts of vehicles. I'm teaching my son to drive and I've told him to expect other drivers to do the stupidest thing... many times you'll be pleasantly surprised when they don't, but sadly there are still many times where they will do...
