Where to ride in March? Deals Gap too cold?

Funny you should suggest The Lodge at Copperhead, I had just stumbled on that myself. It appears there are a number of places in the same area. I think I may wait until closer to when I want to go to make a decision. I would think that, in March, it shouldn't be hard to get accommodations. I'll...

Where to ride in March? Deals Gap too cold?

Thanks for the response, but I don't think Daytona would really be my scene. I'm not really into the crowds or the posing.

Where to ride in March? Deals Gap too cold?

It looks like I may have an opportunity to get away for a bit in the middle of March. I'd love to trailer the bike somewhere to ride, ideally no more than one days drive from here. I know Florida would have ideal weather, but the roads are too straight and flat to be worth the drive. I'd love to...

Ninja 250 Rider tries CBR 1000 for the first time

Great vid. I actually watched the entire thing. His excitement and enthusiasm were quite entertaining. I did question his choices, a couple of times, as to where he decided to give 'er a little bit.

Buying A New House... Need Some Advice, Please!

We bought our first house new. It was one of the first ones in the devolepment. I would never do that again. Muddy roads, mud lawn, construction noise and traffic. No fences or deck. The house we're in now was built about 1980 and the lot was severed off a century home in the old part of town...

Princess Auto threaded insert tool ??

Gerry, Thanks for the tip. It doesn't matter if it's metric or imperial for this project, but for future projects, metric would probably be more useful.

Princess Auto threaded insert tool ??

Has anyone here had any experience with these? I know some PA stuff is absolute crap and some is adequate. I'm just wondering where this tool fits into the spectrum. http://www.princessauto.com/pal/product/2925204/Threaded-Inserts/45-pc-Threaded-Insert-%26-Riveting-Tool-Kit

Wow! I remember seeing that movie as a kid. I haven't heard it mentioned, or even thought about it for years. Sorry, I can't help you out though.

Sargent seat, Leo Vince slip on, and footrest inserts from my GSX650F

Hey guys I've got some bits that I took off my GSX650F before I traded it in. I'm asking 50% of what the cost was new. I think that's fair, but I am open to offers. (please be reasonable) Thanks for looking. The seat...

    January riders??.....

No, it's actually my third. I think I've put about 175km on it. Not alot, but considering I didn't get it 'til December, it's not bad. I'm afraid however, that it's going to be my last for awhile. Come on spring!!

    January riders??.....

Too nice of a day not to. It's hard to believe that it's January. I've got a heated jacket liner and gloves, so cold wasn't an issue at all, but the roads were pretty schmengy out my way. Certainly not fast ride, nor a long one, but enough to put a smile on my face! (Sorry for the shadow in the...

    Supershow...Whatcha buy?

We got there about 10:30, and left a little after 2:00. The only area that wasn't too crowded was the vintage bike area. That was actually my favourite spot.

    Supershow...Whatcha buy?

Half rack of ribs, fries and a pop for $25. Overpriced, but quite tasty. Nothing there that I really needed, but I did see some stuff that was a pretty good deal. WAY too crowded for my taste!

    dilemma

If Mr X has been looking for a way to leave Ms A for three years, Mr X needs to grow a pair! Splitting up is messy and painful. It doesn't get easier with time. If Mr X isn't honest and straight forward with Ms A now, she may just follow him to Vancouver.

    Boxing Week Shopping

I wouldn't go near the malls on Boxing day (or week) even if they were giving stuff away for free! I hate shopping at the best of times, but when you add in crowds like that, I'm totally out.
