Rode from Durham along Kingston road to south end of Scarborough. Rode up to Malvern and along Twyn Rivers back into Durham and along Rossland home. Kinda boring ride except along Twyn River, but at least got out on the bike. Also, Mom cooked for the visit so...

I have heard motorcycle instructors advise this. I think this is VERY bad advice. In addition to the reasons outlined by others above on WHY NOT to do this, how can you make yourself MORE visible if you already have your highbeams on?
Keep the high beams when you need to alert other drivers...
