Here's a tip if you have White Wall tires and want to get them clean. SOS pads. You can pick them up at Walmart. I use the no-name ones from the dollar store and they work great. Just make sure that you get the ones with the blue soap on them.
Below are some pics. The dirty tires is the...
Don't know about that one. In Sweden, 12 year olds race with adults in old cars. They learn to drift and skid control when taking their driving course at 16. Driving courses are mandatory including mandatory winter driving course. You start at 16 and don't get a full lic until 19 (3 year...
Good point on the harness. I thought about it, but personally decided against it and taught him to hold tight. When I feel it loosen I pull over for a bit. Also, I don't do any highway at all and keep it to 1 hour or less only. I was thinking about a trip Niagara Falls later this summer...
Talking with friends, this came up in a debate. I know it depends specifically on the child, but generally what age/height would you consider putting a kid on the bike as a passenger. Seriously want to hear opinions.
In your responses please include if you have children or not and if you...
From Feb 2012. I think it's actually great news that there is solid financial backing. Especially with Nurburgring going into receivership.

I use disposable ear plugs. Came in pack of 12 for $10 or so. My Shoei RF1100 also came with a chin sock which does help on keepi g some noise down.
There is a good windjammer review on web bike world here: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/windjammer/helmet-wind-blocker.htm

The OP found and has been on the forum since 2008 and figured out how to post 600+ messages. Me thinks he's tech savvy to google some of his questions.
But that site is great. Learned something new and have a new tool. Lol
Google is your friend. Took me 20 seconds to find a document outlining everything you need to know about tickets, fines, etc in Nova Scotia.
Sheesh. Some people just too lazy to do their own leg work.
This was the worst show/convention I have ever attended. Complete waste of $$. I encouraged friends to go and I was embarrassed. Yes, first shows are difficult, but the lack of dealers and vendors was just appalling.
Next time, I won't be going unless I see the vendor/exhibitor list in advance.
Honda Stateline: 1,300cc. I found it a little squirrelly in the bends. And at 671lbs, it's the heaviest here.
Vulvan and Suzuki: great rides. Both ride smooth as butter and lean perfect. (I have the Vulcan myself).
Yamaha: Nice ride and great power band. Lean angle wasn't as deep as the Kawi...
Yesterday: from Durham to Niagara Falls. (Niagara Motorcycle Show). All highway, nothing special except Eastport Drive in Burlington.
Today: up to Mosport Park (Rusty Wallace Racing) with a friend. From Mosport down to Bowmanville, twisties around the lake and across through south Oshawa...
Try Eastport Drive underneath the Skyway in those conditions. It adds 1 minute to you time. But a couple of nice curves underneath from one side to the other. Much nicer than the bridge itself.
Mine and best friends families are going. Hope to see you there. Safe riding (and driving).
