I disconnected the battery for a few hrs, but the radio channels didn't reset... and I still get the "No AUX" msg. Aren't the radio channels supposed to disappear when the battery is disconnected ?

Carry a lock de-icer with you under the seat. Note that this only works if you can get access to under your seat in the first place =) And WD40 after every wash.
