sorry, I meant to add that the parking lot attendant was the one who told me I could park on that strip; hence my thought that it might be eligible.

Not sure how legal it is but I've parked up just off the sidewalk as you pull in next to the parking lot with the attendant. I *think* that little stretch is considered the parking lot's property and so is not eligible for tickets.

The spicy garlic shrimp at Fumi's on the North Shore is a must.

Does anyone recommend one over the other?

I've had good experiences with Cycle Werx. Rosey Toes has also helped me out in a pinch but I wouldn't necessarily say he's 'downtown' per se. Town Moto's good peoples but I don't think they work on bikes.
