I've seen UFO's... Strictly speaking, they're not "supernatural".
What I saw were lights moving in formation at high rates of speed. They weren't convention aircraft beacons and the speed and behaviour did not match normal aircraft or satellites.
The usual assumption that UFO = aliens doesn't...
I haven't been to Mexico, but I've been planning a trip. This thread on Advrider is a great one: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=546927
Warning: there's 1300 pages!!!! you can skim through it, but you'll find first-hand reports and valuable advice for handling the inevitable...

Two facts:
1. Christmas is coming.
2. The New Year is coming too.
The first fact is important because maybe you need to buy a gift for a DRZ owner, or maybe you're a DRZ owner with a friend who can't think of what to get you.
The second...
You can find a RX8 pretty cheap, but having just got rid of mine, I can't recommend. It is lots of fun, but expensive to run and far from trouble free.
I replaced it with a golf TDI. It's quite a switch from the RX8, but still a joy to drive. I've gotten over 1000km on a tank and as good as...
I upgraded from a DRZ400SM to a street triple. My work is changed so less need to commute, but just the same I don't ride downtown as much.
Reasons:
The Street Triple has a much stiffer clutch. Not great for stop and go traffic.
If th DRZ gets knocked over, there's no tears. Just pick it up...
Drivers seem to act a little better at night... the road is less crowded and with my headlights I'm a bit harder to miss. I like to head out some evenings for a quick relaxing ride. Except some minivans, that is... why does that minivan want want to race me?
I always figured that was a habit from off-road that guys carried to the supermoto track. However, typical sportbike form has you move your body toward the inside of the turn—lean the bike less and the body more. Supermoto riders do the opposite—lean the bike more and the body is more upright...
I would regularly get 2.2 to 2.4 L/100km on a CBR125. I have a Street Triple now and it is actually suprisingly efficient for it's size and power. If I go easy, I've seen 4.8 L/100km.
I used to only use USPS, but if you check exactly which UPS service is being used, you can make sure it is one without the brokerage fee. I've been dinged for $20 to $70 in the past.
I have a Suomy Apex and have found it quieter than my Shoei Qwest. Nice anti-fog coating on visor even if a bit hard to remove. Also much lighter and it is ECE certified. Not sure how the Apex compares to the Vandal, but they are a quality manufacturer. I was told (but haven't confirmed) that...
Yeah, it's nice to head to the usual busy spots around dinner time when everyone has gone home. That or head out at 7am. Better still, do a road trip and get further out of town as I did this weekend.
I ordered a couple of pairs of gloves at the last 50% off sale. Unlike my previous orders, it didn't ship right away. I figured it may have been an issue due to the huge number of orders I expect they received. I sent them a message a couple of weeks ago and there was an issue with one of the...
Understanding of electrolytes has been around for some time... I just confirmed that the US military added salt tablets to the C-rations in 1945 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C-ration). That's the earliest reference I can find right now, but I'm pretty sure I've read about the British using them...
