What you said about the hi jackers doesn't make sense.
I don't think what I said is so obvious, I think some people fall into cornering in "auto pilot mode", and even small bits of gravel can be seen far away at moderate speed.
WOW.. it would have been a GROTESQUE scene. I've seen too many extremely gruesome motorcycle accident videos... *shivers* *crawls into a corner and cries*
Or you would have been riding faster and would be ahead of the incident. :p
In some of the multiverses, you are dead when the kayak hit you and your motorcycle.
I do notice people either seem more respectful, intimidated or friendly around me when they know I ride. Cars seem to drive faster around me as well.
I think it's because there's a stereotype around motorcyclists..hm anyone know what that stereotype is?
I recently graduated, but I still go to U of T very often.
I park in front of Robarts Library or inside the alley of the Earth Sciences building (designated for motorcycles).
I ride a 2010, Red Kawasaki Ninja 250R with red rim tape and a pro grip carbon tank protector.
.. I've parked next to a...
Saw a skinny girl wearing a pink tank top with white track pants on a white GSXR today around Major Mackenzie and Cityview @ 1pm. WoW!!.mmm...you looked so sexxy! My heart melted when you slightly nodded at me :) .
Saw a fully geared guy on a bike (looked like a zx14r or something POWERFUL)...
I was driving my Ford Ranger pick up truck on HWY403 when all of a sudden something flew vertically from the sky and smashed my windshield.
The shatter was about half a foot across.
When that happened, a guy wearing a T-shirt and sweat pants was riding his matte black CBR600RR right in front of...
I was riding to my motorcycle course that day and I was mad because that section of the road was blocked off....I was very close to being late.
I never knew this was the reason. ... wow.
What's riding the clutch?
I know if you keep your foot on the clutch in a car, it'll burn it.
Would my clutch plates be burnt if I kept my fingers on the clutch lever on a motorbike?
Also, my clutch lever has a bit of a slack in it, is that normal?
I find heel and toe in a car takes more effort to learn. Even the best racers loose a bit of brake pressure each time they blip the throttle (which could have translated to probably a tenth of a second in lap time).
But with practice anything becomes second nature.
Whoops, missed the post, hopefully next time, I've been wanting to to try group riding with people in Richmond Hill, your group of rides sounds familiar, maybe I've seen the three of you around my area.
Thanks everyone!
I am kind of worried about myself.
I know motorcycling is real risky, but I continue to ride and corner extremely FAST, but I can't stop, it's like a dangerous drug, I can't stop.
I thought I was scared, but I rode around the parking lot for an hour, then took Highway 7 home and hit 100km/hr once.
Going straight is easy.
It was my first moderate speed turn that was memorable. I was like "WOAAAH This feels like a video game!!!!!!"
From that day on, I just love leaning.
