Even with all the concerns of legit ownership / theft out of the way.... if this is the approach the seller takes to vehicle registration, do you trust the maintenance being done to the bike?
It's like the vaccination argument... certified doctors and stats vs. the internet.
In this case, replace doctors with "engineerers" and manufacturors putting a warranty behind their owner's manual.
I'd put my money on the ones who had to go to school to get their designations with companies...
To be honest, don't really see a problem with lowering speed limit on residential streets and side streets. They are not talking about lowering the speed limit on Yonge, Bloor, University, Lakeshore, Richmond, Adelaide, Bathurst, etc. (unless I missed it somewhere). Traffic is bad enough...
Given that you have to be at work by 7, I am guessing the latest you should enter the DVP/401 junction should be around 6:15am, which at that time should be okay (avg. about 20min to lakeshore) Keep in mind this is without any collisions on the DVP. There will be traffic, but it'll be moving...
Hi Carlos, just wondering if the monthly payment option is strictly pre-authorized debits from chequing account? or I can do the monthly payments on my credit card like my bell and gas bills (Mastercard)?
I'm confused. The tightness can be adjusted within 5 minutes. But it sounds like you know you should be replacing your chain because it's rusted, "it doesn't feel tight or like some links/o-rings have gone bad". Your words. So why the wait? I'm assuming you are not taking the test today.....
This was back in 2011, when it was 1:1 ratio with CAD$ and US$
Arai Corsair V Crutchlow helmet
GP bikes : quoted $1,089 + HST
Studio Cycle: quoted $1,299 + HST
Royal Distributing: called twice, no answer on the phone
SportBikeTrackGear: US$700 (this was after a 10% discount was applied) + $40...
Speedworx. And it's easy to get to if you ever have to leave your bike there. GO train or bus drops you off near Markville Mall and it's a short walk to the garage.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I am planning to do a few test rides this summer before making up my mind since there are many options now... ninja 250/300, cbr 300/500, yamaha R3, ktm 390, etc.
Hehe ... I skip a huge chunk of my mileage by commuting to the train station, and then the train takes over while I take a 50min snooze :D Worked for me especially I hate winter driving and stop&go traffic on DVP.
Thanks for sharing. It's true, although very capable of highway travelling, I can't say I enjoyed the feel of it now that I had the 650 experience to compare.
The 650 is great. The other factors will be the typicals: cheaper insurance, gas (If I go down to a 250, I can squeeze out another 120km per tank), etc.
Thanks all for sharing your experience. I think I'll start logging my km's this season and firm up my decision. In the past, I used to...
I've been contemplating downsizing for a few reasons. The main one being that I am taking a lot less long rides (minimum 5+ hours) and touring trips on the bike. If we do go far, I tend to take the car so it's more comfy for the both of us. Also starting this season, I'll be commuting...
(edited cupcake portion because of location of delivery) Prairie Girl is only downtown I think, but I found these...http://www.flourgirls.com/default.aspx , http://fortheloveofcake.ca/delivery/
For flowers & baskets (pretty sure no cupcake with them), I've used Tidy's Flowers and they send to...
Either one of them is fine. I had good experience with both. Just choose the one that works with your location and schedule.
Also, check out motorsoul if you haven't. Ginny is an excellent instructor and she makes things easy to understand and fun. I think they are operating near Ontario Place.
The difference in premium has to do with multiple variables that affects rating.... ranging from your postal code, to the type of vehicle, to whether you are a preferred segment the company is trying to do business with. Not really sure that the number of years of experience riding a bike helps...
