Good to know as I don't want to have the effect of a dark visor plus the one from my dark glasses at the same time!

What about if you have prescription glasses with "Transitions" type lenses? Will they go dark with the dark visor or remain clear? I currently have a dark visor and wear regular glasses but would like my next pair to be photochromic but I'd like to know first if they'd stay clear behind a dark...

I know that the X11 had a different "head shape" than the RF-1000 (oval vs round). Not sure if it still applies for the X12.

Re. the valve adjustment, it's more of a check than anything else. I had mine checked at around 35K and there was nothing to report. I'll be doing again this winter (80K) and if everything is still in specs, I probably won't bother with it again. As for the vibrations, there must have been...

My Lumix shoots AVCHD Lite videos which take up a lot less space than regular AVIs.

Keep in mind that the width of the seat makes a difference as well. I replaced my seat with a Corbin and noticed the width spreads my legs apart more thus "shortening" my legs some more. I can still flat foot but find the bike more difficult to move around at parking speed.

Time to switch on the reserve perhaps?

4th Side Road is always dirty. I don't think I've ever seen the first curve we meet after turning from Appleby clean. Same for the one after the bridge. Rocky shoulders will do that.

Really that hot? Never had an issue with mine in 5 years. I do wear motorcycle boots most of the time so that could explain why. Not a fan of riding with running shoes.
