Ever driven with snow tires in the winter? They just plain work better in cold weather, period. The way I see it, if you plan to keep your car for 4-5 years, you're gonna need to replace the tires at some point so why don't you get a set of winter tires on steelies right away and be done with it?

Kappa and Givi are from the same factory so the mounts are the same. Kappa is not as "pretty" or as rugged as the Givis but costs less.

My friend had a TZ-R for a few years and switched to a Qwest and found it noisier than the TZ-R.

Apparently not nearly as fun to ride than the Sprint ST. They've messed up the steering quite a bit.
