Forgive my posting this question, no doubt it's been posted before and I tried searching for it.
Riding a 09 Yamaha V-Star 950cc touring.
Was advised that when the low fuel warning light comes on, I have approx 10Km to 30Km to refill.
Is this accurate / can I get a better idea as a 10 to 30km...
I realize this is an old thread but I just picked up my 950 and been riding it for nearly two weeks now. I'm pretty tall and got a few extra lbs in weight but the 950 is more than capable of dragging me around :)

I had same problem. After 1St week I got myself out of it. If you drive a car then make your signal but make full effort to manually shutting off the signal after the turn (again in a car). That might help when you get on your bike.
Hi allJust signed onto this place. Just recently wrote my M1 and completed the M1 exit safety course, which was well worth the money. Picked up my Yamaha V-Star touring and am in love with a whole new world that has just opened up. Hope to see some of you guys on the road.
