I once was told that if you put your hand on the ground in the pits and it comes back wet, then run rains. Otherwise you should be good to go, just take it easy. YMMV, just a piece of advice I was given when I was trying to figure out whether to mount up rains or not.

Doesn't look like there will be very many bike events there this year, unfortunately. I, too was looking forward to doing more events there this season but it looks like it will be slim pickings.

I would hazard a guess and say that the Samco Branded silicone hoses(not saying that's what you have but it is the most common "brand" name of silicone hoses) and the ebay "made in china" hoses come out of the same Chinese factory.
