Quality and dependability comes down to warranty. Gimmicks and knickknacks are a way to differentiate your product in the market. If everyone came up with a 4 year warranty, what else can you do to differentiate your car. I dont consider styling or performance a knicknack.

I saw an aventador being pulled over for no front plates. Exotic cars are always a target for cops and they will bust you for anything they can.

Agreed, it also comes down to how you ride/drive. Even with a loud bike/car you dont HAVE to shift at redline.
