I had my header done by them probably 4 years ago. Its held up well so far, not as shiny as it once was but I think you can shine up the finish. I just haven't spent the time to see what is safe to use on it. I also had my rearsets and a bunch of other parts powdered coated at the same time.
I would have a better look at the Glock. The M&Ps aren't as durable as the Glock. I owned a 226 for a while and although it was nice, I ended up selling it and buying a 92FS. No complaints with the Beretta or the Glock.
If you want to copy of the person sitting beside you, make sure they aren't writing their hair dressers exam :D
Congrats on getting through your hours and good luck on the exam.
No you still need to do the RIV inspection at canadian tire but if the bike is brand new it does not need the safety inspection done. If you bring back a used bike you need to do both.
If it is brand new you will get an MSO Manufactuers State of Origin form. You will NOT need to get a safety if you have that have that when you register the bike here in Ontario. The lady tried to tell me I needed one but she was wrong.
Your a lot better off just contacting the US customs office to find somebody to answer your question. I already told you that I purchased a new bike from a dealership in Ohio and I DID NOT PAY ANY STATE TAXES.
They don't have assembly lines in the USA. They are shipped over in a crate partially assembled and the dealership finishes the job thus making them duty free.
If you buy a bike for transport you dont pay the state taxes although I've heard some states charge but I dont know. I bought in Ohio and never paid sales tax.
You dont pay duty on any of those 4 makes of motorcycles. They are made in Japan but they are assembled in the usa at local...
Only a couple states require you to pay the state tax. If you are purchasing the vehicle for transport you usually do not pay any taxes in that state, you pay where the vehicle is registered.
Where did you hear that? There is nothing indicated about that on the RIV website. It still says to go to Canadian Tire and have you vehicle inspected.
Maybe it depends on which state you cross the border in? I thought I heard something about Michigan charging duty even if you got a vehicle for transport.
