I have used Pete's, Rider's Choice and Speedworx for tires and they are all good places to shop for current date tires. Pete's had quick shipping (the others I P/U in shop/ or show). Pricing will depend on time of season, inventories, etc. so shop around for price. For reference, the best prices...

I'm at 10k plus rpm all the time I ride..I just can't get enough of the buzzing. I've never had an issue anywhere although I still have the stock exhaust. Worst case..use a silencer.

I found the TMP Holiday deal post under the Road Race sub forum and it still seems to be open. Signed up for the 3 day weekend but not sure if they'll still accept it this late. (and it does say Thursday but even if they meant weekday how can you do a 6 or 10 day?)

I have ridden both of these with a couple days of seat time on each of them. I just started on a 600cc and I still prefer to ride this bike a year later. Unlike what MT...
