everyone complains about how lowering a bike mucks with the performance, but for the most part, lowering it an inch or 2 for street riding probably isn't going to make a ton of difference anyway. If you are riding to the point where lowering it a couple inches is going to create ground...
i looked in there a couple days ago, and saw a little bit of yellow tucked back in a corner somewhere. I don't own anything that colour so I'm assuming it's still there...
It's better than nothing, like tomtom. I used it for quite a while, but you couldn't plan multi point routes. Garmin is fairly straightforward, I usually just plan something out in google maps, then program the turns in the garmin app.
Yea, but I'd rather devise a way to keep it waterproof. I have an IP67 rated USB port on the bike already, so I don't have to worry about weatherproofing the other end, plus I want to be able to leave it out to do time lapse stuff as well and not worry about weather.
Bestbuy did the online...
i picked up the fs deal. can't complain with the price, altho it would have been nice to have the wifi built in so I could run a battery backpack, but i'm already dreaming up ways of keeping this thing charged on the bike.
i used to run BT-016s in 110/70-17 F and 150/60-17 R. I LOVED those tires. got decent mileage out of them too, I used to get 10,000km no prob. People will tell you to stay away from the 150 rear, but I never had any problems with it, and I really liked how the bike handled with it. Just make...
When I traded my old Ninja for my SV it was a straight trade. went to the MTO and told them that we just basically exchanged keys and ownerships, and that there was no bill of sale. she did it up as $0 and that's what I paid in taxes :D
Fully automatic anti salt turrets come to mind, but they are a pain to get up here. you can have them shipped to CBI USA and pick them up in niagara though.
I took a fazer 8 (the half faired version) for a rip and while I loved the seating position, it tried to cook my nuts on a 1/2 hour demo around Barrie. It was very comfortable, but the front end was a little soft for my liking. The FZ8 is probably one of the best looking naked bikes around, imo.
this is what I'd recommend. seating position is very similar to the ninjette. Not sure what's out there for luggage, but I'm sure someone makes some. Maybe look at the GSX650F as well, I found it to be quite comfortable as well, and there should be plenty of aftermarket touring goodies for it.
i bought my scorpion from motorcycle superstore, they shipped it in the retail box (helmet was in it's protective bag) along with a spare shield and the aero skirt in the box. I think you'll be fine shipping it with any major carrier. As long as the box isn't beat to hell, then the contents...
I did pretty well on my 023's this year too. got about 16,000 km out of them and they should handle just about anything anyone can throw at them on the street. Just be careful in the wet on them, they didn't impress me much with the wet traction.
