i went straight from my 250 to an SV1k. Mind you, I put 33,000km on that 250 in 2 seasons, and was very comfortable with it.

I'd stay far away from that site. I'd check ebay, see if you can find a fairing. even if you have it shipped out of the states to CBI or something.

I think there's proximity APIs built into bluetooth. I remember I used to be able to unlock my computer with my phone if it was within a certain range, but that might have just been a function of "as soon as you see the phone, unlock". not 100% sure on that.

I beat on my 250 like a red headed step child. It was really the only way to ride that bike LOL

I'd be in for that. only thing is leaving for rides at 8pm, it's starting to get dark on the way back. Not that I particularly mind, but I know some people do.

I miss it sometimes, until I crack the throttle on the SV1k. Then I forget all about it ;)

4-6 weeks will be perfect riding weather. Just look forward to that ;)

That eliminator will work best with the stock exhaust, but like I said, I think the OEM endcap gets in the way of the LED taillight when it's above the exhaust like that. I'd wait until you get an exhaust before doing the taillight if you're dead set on that style. You can get the plate bracket...

I'm not too much up on the Hondas, but since a friend of mine has an 09 CBR and went thru this last summer, I'm pretty sure your best options for a tail light is either the CustomLED replacement taillight, which uses the stock brackets (sits under the exhaust) or you can get the Tripage LED...

welcome. to the guys trying to talk him out of a bike he's already purchased, well, you're just wasting time. Good luck on that thing man. It's a beast of a bike, and not exactly noob friendly so be careful.

$10 says the carbs are gunked up. Hence the sticky in the technical forum about this exact issue: http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?112644-Ongoing-250R-problem-starting-issues these things are jetted so bloody lean that even a little crap in the carbs will make it not start...
