I don't think it's the head gasket... Do you hear that same sound revving the bike while stationary? Closely check all hose at the air box to make sure all is connected, make sure the air filter is seated properly and the lid is closed tight all around. Is it OEM exhaust? how old is it? As...

The Pirelli Super Corsa's are your best bet. I raced them for several seasons. Lots of positive feedback, good to go from lap 1 (if using tire warmers). Hornblower was running Dunlop slicks, not sure if there was an advantage with them or not...

It's semantics, Tim might be grumpy today although that would be a rare thing as I've never seen it. I certainly liked how the Pirelli's "worked" on my bike more than I like the way the Dunlops "worked". Work as a verb = My tires don't work as well in the cold as they do in the hot summer temps.

Only heard of two items being stolen, both on race weekends. One was Simon's Yamaha generator at TMP and the other was a Honda generator stolen form Brent's pit area at Mosport a few years ago.

If your engine is sounding "louder/throatier" it is most likely air related. Could be as simple as the air box cover not completely seated. Check over your work, check all hoses and ensure air box is closed correctly and air filter is seated properly.

Spark plugs with gaskets (metal rings) only need an 1/8 to 1/4 turn after finger tight. Another more and you're asking for trouble.

Lots of wrong ways, good advice provided already. One key is to never release the lever until the bleeder screw is closed to avoid sucking air back in that you just bled out.

No need to disconnect the battery for switch cleaning.

The tank on one of my CT70's was rusted, I ordered one from Honda Canada and it was in stock!!! That was about 3-4 years ago. It was cheap too, but can't remember exact price.
