just got back from a ride f-in freezing had to stop and put my hands on the engine for a bit to warm them up lol. had to scratch my itch. always worth it.

thank you all for your input, im actually waiting on a stand one of the old school ones that don't need spools. but i didnt feel like waiting so i took garys advice with the 2 by 4, worked like a charm. thanks gary. alot better than using straps to lift the bike

hey everyone, i want to lift my bike to clean the chain, my bike has no spools but i do have a chain hoist in my garage i use to take out motors. Is it ok if i tie straps to both sides of the swing arm to lift the bike?
