I always enjoy the swap meet and for $5, it's pretty cheap entertainment for a few hours. Picked up a couple of Clymer manuals for $10 and met some people I hadn't seen in awhile.

I'm strictly an amateur but I took quite a number of shots at the final turn before the grandstand and along the back straight. If anyone wants to send me their numbers I'd be happy to look through all my shots to send to you. I can't promise a quick turnaround but what do you expect for free :)

Yep. Hopefully the various public works departments won't feel compelled to apply brine until December this year. Some places were spraying streets mid-October last year.
I have never dealt with Cycle World but have had considerable dealings with Snow City and have nothing but positive experiences. I've bought and serviced two bikes (over 100,000 kms) with them and have always been pleased with the work. Their lead mechanic, Scott, is one of Yamaha's top techs.

Thanks Matthew - I agree with your comment. I am using the term a bit generically - perhaps "non-campground camping to avoid the outrageous fee for just a tent" is more appropriate.;)

Regarding the comment about a fire, I don't plan to have a fire but from what I can tell reading online, fires are permitted on Crown Land so long as an open fire ban has not been issued.
