Name of the bike. It happens to be slapped right on the side and on this green piece of paper I have to carry around.
With street oriented tires and some suspension tuning, it's more than solid enough on the road. Can take twisties well above HTA 172 territory, like double... on an 80 road...
Let us know when you bin it sometime this winter lol.
I've ridden in the winter quite a few times, not recommended for a newbie.
When did everyone become so nice on GTAM? Haven't been around in a year almost... Things have changed. Guess the ban hammer has been swinging more often!
A little over 5000 km this season. 30,000+ last season. Just over 36,000 the season before... This year was on a brand new KTM. Work got in the way for the most part. It also needs some mods for the long distance stuff.
I drove trucks and own a Miata. This made me chuckle.
The industry is very different nowadays and there's no money in it, hence the sh*t drivers. Doesn't help that most of them rode camels previous to driving trucks.
Make sure you buy the extended warranty when getting a KTM. 1 year factory warranty and pay the $1800 for the extra 4 years. I've already saved myself some money!
lol that guy on the Ninjette lawnmower is going full out and the supersport riders are doing what it appears to be a "cool down lap". He pulls away on the straight away and does like 120 km... A liter bike does a lot more than 120..... IN FIRST GEAR!
Let's get some DS and SM riders together in Durham! Post meets and rides here.
Raglan pits + trails, Ganny, street rides, get togethers. Let's make this happen! If you have a DS or SM in Durham, post where you're from and what you're riding. I want to get some rides+meets set up!
Drennan57... 3 months riding experience, owns a lame bike that's meant for old guys who want to tootle around, they slap big panniers on to buzz along for a weekend trip and you're telling others with much more experience how things are and what "SUX brah".
Well, let's put it this way... I can...
KTM 690 Enduro R SM or Husqvarna 701 Supermoto.
Bike has a ton of power, comes the best equipped out of all supermoto's / Dual Sports and will be super cheap on insurance.
