    Magic in Winnipeg... featuring me!

If it wasn't a switch then I bet it was a resealed pack. 8 of hearts bent slightly to keep track of it? Was it the card that spun slightly a half a turn after the first cut?

    Magic in Winnipeg... featuring me!

Nice! Lol @ 4:12, (with the card in plain sight) just move that aside, I don't want to touch it @ 4:35, allow me to play with the card under a newspaper. What happens if the participant says, "let's use my own deck - red bicycle cards!"?

    Any router/networking experts here?

I've been using a dlink dir-825 running openwrt. Slightly faster than the Asus Rt-N16 and highly configurable. I plan on upgrading to an Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite in the near future.

    Inverters eu2000i/ef

Our electrician installed a 20 circuit 30A generator panel and we just told him which circuits we wanted on backup power. He installed a cable to plug into the 240v socket of the generator. It cost ~$900 - money well spent to let him worry about the wiring details! We got our 7200w generator...

    Inverters eu2000i/ef

We have a UPS installed on our computers, network equipment, and our TV. If voltage or frequency goes out of an accepted range, they transfer to battery mode. First time we ran our generator, all the UPSes were transferring to & from battery like crazy because the frequency was bouncing...

    Inverters eu2000i/ef

Just curious - I have a "Champion" generator that I've used to get through many outages. Tuned it to run exactly at 60hz and never had an issue using electronics or the furnace. What's so bad about them?

Bell Fibe upgrade - Please help me understand

I'm not a huge fan of bell... couldn't give a crap for providing decent service for those of us who live in the country. Find a local fiber provider. I pay $49/month. Unlimited 30/3. I have to provide my own wireless trunk though to one of their CPEs though...

Some Help Please- Tomato wifi setup-wireless client with virtual network

I don't think you'll need to get into vlan tagging for this unless your gateway isn't running as an access point. Assuming your gateway == wifi access point: 1. Create a new firewall zone and call it guest, allow your guest network to forward to the WAN interface only. 2. Create a new...

Some Help Please- Tomato wifi setup-wireless client with virtual network

No - still not clear. If I understand correctly, your tomato router: - Will be acting as a station that will connect to an access point. You will be routing this connection. (i.e. treat it as a WAN) - Will also be acting as an access point with two SSIDs - SSID1: Primarywifi...

Some Help Please- Tomato wifi setup-wireless client with virtual network

Just trying to understand what you're trying to do from a high level perspective... Is this correct: You're trying to create two separate networks to share one internet connection. One network is a private network and the other is a public (guest) access point?

    Propane vs gas generator

Make sure you have a proper transfer switch/generator panel installed too. Costco had a 7200 watt gas generator on sale for $549. It was enough to run the essentials in the house during the power outage. After your done, switch the fuel off and run it dry. Drain the leftover gas into a jerrycan.
