I agree 100% :-) All that I am saying is that if you have to EQUAL riders, the 1000 wins almost every time. But a 600 can win (and does) but the 600 rider may have to take more risks to win. NOW, I agree with you that the 600's should come out and play in those SuperBike and Open Sprint...

This is all to do with the rider, not the bike.

A 600 doesn't stand a chance against a superbike at Mosport... none at all. IMO, as for comparing lap times, it may not be a valid comparision when it comes to "racing". A 600 may be faster through and out of the corner, but if all things are relatively equal, the 1000 will get to the corner...
