Not to discredit 250/300 owners, but I can see the annoyance with riding them on the highway.
I've done it, and I want to get off ASAP. Mind you my current bike is kinda brutal on the highway as well..... but it has nothing to do with the power. Moreso very light weight, zero wind protection...
No.
Aside from the fact there isn't a substantial difference, I would save your money and garnish some more experience. Next season if you still feel the urge to "upgrade" ... Take a look at the 650's as mentioned previously.
Realistically you should wait until the demo days next year and test...
Did not buy my 690 at GP Bikes but they seem to treat everybody the same... as with scheduling.
Maybe this is a BMW thing? GP Bikes seems to treat everybody fairly. I didn't buy my bike at GP but they still gave me a loaner bike when mine was doing some work.
As a matter of fact they loaned me...
I got a 2010 GSXR600 for about the same price, not during the bike show. Septemberish? (IIRC)
Anyways, probably pipe dreams compared to MSRP vs Paid amount these days (for new stock)
So that's where all the cool cats hang out.... ;)
Admittedly I just ride straight through, I have the social skills of a penguin. Likewise if I have to explain what a "KAY-TEEEEE-EMMM" is one more time......
OP just join up on some group rides.
Just to add to this... I bought a '14 Yamaha FZ-09 from Kelly's Cycle in Hamilton.
Kelly's Cycle gave the best price by far, with no hassle (and NO BS CHARGES) I would recommend stopping by and seeing what they can do. They have pretty good after sales as well.
They took the time to actually...
Ha.... I was just expecting a little bit more, closer to the GSA. I am keeping an eye on it anyways.
Really leery of DCT though.... The real question, will it have cruise control!? ;)
