A quick shot of chain lube (HHS2000 FTW) on the exposed mounts/fasteners seems to keep things rust free. I am lucky living in "the sticks" as these brine trucks you speak of, stay far away.

They have so far done lines for my old Mazda RX3 and my GS750. Nice quality and great prices. From my research and actual purchases, it seems to run right around $100 to do a bike front to back.
A good friend had a snake pretty similar looking, Albino corn snake or something. Went over one night for a visit and asked where the snake was as i couldn't manage to locate it in the terrarium. He said he thinks it may be dead or just coming out at night as he did not see it for a few weeks...

Bike is warming up as i type, 1st morning in a while that i have been able to commute this early out my way.
Made it out yesterday for a small 50km run, might have to try and double it up today ;)
I used to have one and did allot to and with it. The bikes are getting harder to find the past few years "for a relevant price" as more and more people are realizing the potential these bikes have and the dead simple maintenance they require. Anything in particular you would like to see/find out?
Thanks for the insight. I will give the 023 a shot next season, for now i will make due with the 016 for the remainder of the season as its to chilly for the wife to ride.
