I recently found this handy converter when purchasing my rear spring. I thought that maybe someone else might find it useful. http://hraefn.net/projects/spring_rates.php
This is spot on. It's much easier to keep tabs on vehicles around me on the highway then city streets. Not to mention the fact that there are no intersections and we're all going in the same direction. If I don't like how someone else is driving on the highway I can easily move away from them.
1. I have no idea, I'm guessing probably not.
2. A very valid point.
3. Yes the high price is partially to act as a deterrent. But let's be honest here, cig are one of those things that the government can tax as much as they want and ppl will still pay. Hard for ppl to defend those "poor...
I'm not supporting smoking but I recall reading somewhere back in University that the health care argument is a fallacy. The extremely high taxes on ciggs actually put more money into the system than the health care costs take out. Feel free to call bs in this one, it's just one of those...

I heard an interview with him on a podcast called, "motopod". He sounds like a really nice down to earth guy. Its great news and I'm looking forward to following his season. Great to have a Canadian at that level to follow.
I think this is one of those situations where you're over analyzing things. Like others have said the bike will feel somewhat foreign and strange to you at first. Take it slow and give it some time. After you have some miles under your belt you' have a better idea of what you want to adjust...
Here are a few pics of my trip to Indy in 2010. I'm planning to go again this year with my brother in law. I remember there were a lot of demo rides set up. I wonder if Canadians can sign up? Just thinking out loud here as I type this. I'm going to see if there is anything for 2012 when this...
