You guys should start checking your rim temp as well. If you do not see a rise in rim temp you will not have the tire heat soaked. The probe model gives you the tire temp internally. But mine was $100US about 8 years ago. So these models only give you surface temp. Check the rim to ensure it is...
With my eco Diesel I have seen several times where it has come up with a dash warning, "Your Exhaust Filter is 80% Full, Drive at Highway speed to fix it" So I get on the Hwy and do a 15 minute jog and it's fine. But I have discovered this happens with a lot of little trips. Because of my V10...
$45000 out the door,,, my gas savings is making my payments and banking me money. Compared to my V10 Triton
Averaged 17-18L/100 to Shuby and back pull my trailer,,,[it isn't small] Trying to break the 6.6L/100 not towing this weekend!!
That works out to just over 1200K on a tank. About $95 or...
You are ready! You can take all the courses and all the class rooms you wish. It will never prepare you for "racing".
Racing prepares you for racing. FAST gave you the basics with Phase 1 now phase 2 gives you more preparation. By racing you find out how much sunk in.
Schools do not teach you...
Ben was using pump gas which in fact made less power. With Ben being pretty much on his own and new to CSBK after two years he messed up. Because it was "Not" spec and he was not in the points but the bike made less HP then with the spec fuel, he was docked the points and donated his Purse...
The class at RACE was just created,, numbers will increase with discussions, even this one. Info about anything ,is vague at best because even CSBK has no idea what Kawi is doing with the National class because Kawi has no idea. Will it be an entry level class or just a retired PR class?
But...
Uhmm, well, it has been a lot worse! So I think this is an improvement. And those that didn't come out, missed probably the best racing in many years. What is TFC?
You just have to be careful with some stuff. The tack industry likes to add colouring to help get that saddle petina. It can get interesting with the lighter leathers like white. depending on the finish and colour it could yellow it if you use enough. The product is fine just watch the colour in...
No it's a Tack Shop product and hard to find. Many Tack shops stock the red dye products to enhance the saddle/tack looks. I buy it by the case but am ready to order a new couple cases. So I don't have much right now to spare.
Your suit might be a bit stiff but if you condition it ,even...
I think they changed that to match up with the SOAR class for the GNF,,but,, You would need a RACE number,,the transponder may offer some grace,,also depend on class's you both run in and if there is any conflicts.
Well unless they took the suit apart and threw it in a tumbler for 7 days they can't re-dye it. They can paint it. Which has been referred to as surface dyeing. Which means you took it to a cleaners and they sent it out. This company specializes in fashion leather cleaning and surface dyeing. It...
No, if I wash them I need at least five days to dry them so they do not shrink. There in lies another issue. So if you do not know what you are doing you can easily shrink your suit a size or more.
Anybody can do a great job! The hard part is not cleaning them. The hard part is doing it right. I "could" get out all the dirt on any suit. But the leather would be toast after. So if you use "ANYTHING" that you would not use on your hands then it will shorten the life of your leathers.
We hand clean them and if the leather is okay to do so we will wash them in cold water. DONOT send them to a dry cleaners.
Cold water is no worse then riding in the rain. Just be careful the dye does not run,, that is the only issue.
