Like previous post said, a charger will provide constant charge to the battery so you wanna use that till it is fully charged then disconnect. recharge as voltage drops. A tender has maintenance mode, so once fully charged, it'll maintain the charge by charging only when necessary automatically...
That's interesting, I've never head of anything like that. Can anyone explain further?
Good to hear that the 91 will remain ethanol free. V-Power Power!!!
Battery life drains if it isn't constantly charged. Some people have been fine by just charging the battery before riding season but most that I know have had dead batteries if they didn't put it on a tender or constantly charged it over the winter. Battery Tender Jrs. are like $35 at most...
I wear hi-top sneakers. I agree that they are not the best for protection. I was lucky as I have gone down in them and escaped with no shoe related injuries. Being a broke student keeps me from buying some of the gear so I prioritized my list and am purchasing the best when I can afford it...
if it's car on car, it would've been an improper left and $155, it should be the same in this case. It is unfortunate that the riders died but we are making the choice to ride motorcycles and then asking for different treatment in terms of laws. Parking is free and that already such a great...
I would...Oil isn't that expensive. If you do have expensive oil and cannot part with it early, I'd drain it into a clean container, and put cheap oil for the winter so atleast the bike sits with fresh oil. Then re use the other oil come spring.
I think it's because I am a N00B. He was probably worried about the Ducati. I don't blame him, I wouldn't want a N00B other than me to mount my ninja 250 as well. LOL. I just wanted to share my experience. Reviews are clearly mixed at the place so I am sure there is a good side. Their pricing...
Weather forecast looks good. Heading out as scheduled, meeting at the Petro on Markham and Denison at 2:30pm. Will wait a bit before heading out. To GP and back.
That is how it should be among experienced riders as we know more and can research what we want and find out which product delivers to our needs best. But it's the new riders that have the problems. I was new looking for a jacket, researched and went in knowing exactly what I wanted but still...
People are ranting about it after the fact because it is the Review section. People are posting their experiences in the place....so others know about it. Had I seen this thread, I would have had to deal with......
......my experience shopping there. I went in for my first jacket, great prices...
I guess there are two types of bikers....
ones who have had their bike stolen
and
ones who are going to have their stolen
****** THE SCUMBAG THIEVES, sorry for your loss bro
how long is whole time? i dont think its the carbs or the battery, kneedragger is the best with these 250s. There is also an ad on kijiji, that guy helped me with oil changes and stuff for cheap, you can try him
Alrite....so I am thinking meet at Markham and Denison PetroCanada at 2:30pm. Ride out to GP via Markham South -> 401 East route. Straight to GP and back, so W8INLINE can be back by 5.30pm. Everyone welcome, pace is limit....give or take a little.
Make sure you post and let one of us know so...
