    Poll: Noise restrictions bylaw

The law will apply to apply to everyone but humans are in charge of enforcing it and they will be very prejudiced. Motorcycles will be stopped mostly with an occasional ricer here and there. It doesn't look to good for us as we may be stopped just because the officer may be having a bad day and...

    Poll: Noise restrictions bylaw

I like it...I've seen the "cool ones" unnecessarily rev through residential areas and do what ever they can to make their pipes louder. It'd be nice to have a restriction. However, most of the pipes will pass the dB test as long as revs are kept low. The problem is the over revving and there is...

For those complaining about local used by prices look at this.

New goes for 73490 NZ$ which is around 58000 CA$....with the high duties and import taxes along with the rarity of the bike....that seems reasonable for brand new. He's only looking for offers which will definitely be less than that. Now...why were you looking at a used bike in NZ? LOL...j/k

Paint question for ZX6r (how much needed and where to buy)

If you think its too expensive....leave it the way it is. It's just battle scars. Rock them with pride. Fix it when you have the money to fix it properly....just my opinion. As a matter of how much, rocket12r said half-pint was more than enough for two side fairings and a nose cone, so you'll...

    2012 Ducati monster 696 or 2012 ninja 650r

Ducati has more swag but I would get the Ninja for the wind protection, better speed and the fact that its liquid cooled. If you ride on the hot summer days (who doesn't on this forum), you'll thank me for getting liquid cooled as opposed to the air cooled Monster. It sets your crotch on fire...

    lane splitting and cagers honking

Lane splitting and filtering is illegal at all times. Just because you can or you think you are experienced enough to do it doesn't make it legal. Good for you for not getting ticketed yet....I am going to hope you get a huge ticket for it soon though. May be you'll learn from that and stop...

    winter storage: fuel

I've heard multiple people say Stabil has given them issues. Its better to stay away. Seafoam is great and it cleans out ur carbs/fuel delivery system along with stabilizing it. As for the gas, I was under the impression that only V-power is ethanol free. I just spoke to someone who is in the...

    ninja 250r oil

That's strange. Usually, all oils have the mention and it can't be missed. Most motorcycle oils here come in 10w40 anyways so I am assuming you are fine. Not trying to offend you or anything, what oil did you buy?Where did you get it? Why did you buy cheap oil?

    Newbie qu re: fuel stabilizer

Ethanol may cause component corrosion or deterioration. In some cases it has even saturated and partially dissolved fiberglass gas tanks. Debris forms rapidly as ethanol fuel ages, and since ethanol is a good solvent, it will carry these particles into the fuel delivery system or your carb jets...
