For doing chain work on my KLR, I used a plastic container (milkbone) under the swingarm. You can probably find something similar height. Otherwise I used the Canadian tire bike lift. Works great for the KLR if you have a bash plate.

Well I was wrong. It's not -4 it's -10C. Definitely not going :)

I don't consider myself a fair weather rider, but 150km in -4C just to start the ride seems rough.

You will not be disappointed. It felt like it pulled harder than the zx10 at lower rpms. It's a monster if you want it to be.

The Kawasaki demo in Barrie was very quiet last year. I showed up late in the day and there was only 3 of us trying out anything in the fleet. I was the only one who tried the ZX-14 all day. That's a real shame, it's such an incredible machine.

The Ninja 250 has a gas tank that's notorious for whistling when you get temperature change. I don't remember mine lasting for that long though. If it happens again, try popping the gas cap and closing it again.

Downsized from a KLR 650 to a CRF250L, and the only thing I missed was some torque and range. Everything else was better, for what I do. I'm also going to sell off the GL1200 this spring. Fun bike to ride, but definitely not what I'm interested in doing anymore. I'd not only recommend...

CRF250L Cam - Bethany Mud: https://youtu.be/-l27_L04X0U This was Post road, and probably the most muddy part of the ride. I washed mud off my valve cover, just to give an idea of how deep it got. It was an optional challenge section that should be skipped ;)

Depends on the group you're with. Some are quicker than others. A 250cc is fine for these types of rides.

I might go this year. Enjoyed it last ride. Steve and his GPS skills saved the day ;)
