I too have been checking a couple apps out, the best one I have found for routes is scenic, and diablo SBK for data tracking.

I bought my last set of tires from Pete and had them installed @ New Tec recreation (on Hwy 50 just south of Alliston) for $40.00 a tire.

I took my bike to a mechanic in Alliston and all it costed me was $45.00 + change. This was just for safety standards certificate. I prepped my bike myself prior to inspection (tires, brakes etc...)

Before I got my VFR I was looking at getting a FZ6. I tried to get a quote from my car and my house insurance providers “The Co-Operators “ and to my surprise both the FZ6 and VFR were blacklisted.
Ended up getting a stand-alone policy from Desjardins.

I use canadian tire points from the gas bar as well as my wife... saved enough to purchase a 3/4 of a 8000 watt generator. Just bought a battery charger for my bike battery.

There is also motopark in Chatsworth (near Owensound) they offer bikes and lessons but they will be closing at the end of October.
