    FZ 07, FZ 09, or FZ 10?

If you're getting the FZ07, I'll hook you up with a bunch of accessories for cheap. They may even fit the FZ09, if you want to take a look into it: http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?203270

Another new & proud 250R '10 owner with lots of work to do!

I should have thought about the prep, but I didn't. I'm too anxious to get my lights in and start riding! (Saw a few enduros and a couple of nice red ninjas out today!)

Another new & proud 250R '10 owner with lots of work to do!

2nd update before final DIY complete posting! I've been learning things the hard way during this whole thing... like how parts from eBay take nearly 60 days to receive, and how I should also be concerned that projectors that are made for cars won't fit motorcycles. Additionally, how paint...

    Reliably, Reasonably Price Tires?

Wow, that's really good to know. I really appreciate it! I think I rode just over 1000km, the front never felt reliable even under slightly wet contact. Ted at rosey toes said I had a season left on them, but I'd rather change it now. Last rider also showed me the bike a month before I actually...

    Reliably, Reasonably Price Tires?

Sorry, I meant front 110/70 - 17". Rears I'm not sure of. But the thing is, in some aspect, I don't trust the Michelin website because when I plugged in my bike, it said there were no tires made for my bike. Big WTF.

    Reliably, Reasonably Price Tires?

Wait, what do you mean by that? I see that there's a 140/70 - 17" Rear Pilot Road 3. Isn't that the right size?

    Reliably, Reasonably Price Tires?

I'm looking for something with huge front wet grip and longevity. I might get the same rears, but maybe because of my spill late last season, I want extra grip with the Pilot Road 3 in the front. Don't care if the rear slips a bit. Also, I find it funny that on DCP's website, the Pilot Street...

    Reliably, Reasonably Price Tires?

Still not sure where to be buying my tires... but I've decided on which ones to get. Hope a dealer can reach out with a better deal! http://www.petes-superbike.com/11070zr17-pilot-road-p-392.html http://www.petes-superbike.com/14070r17-tltt-pilot-street-rear-p-47556.html Looks like I'm faced...

Another new & proud 250R '10 owner with lots of work to do!

Hey there! Just a bit of an update and response to those who've been really awesome at giving me advice. I just got some of the parts, stupidly thought I was going to get a pair of projectors, so for anyone else ordering like me, ORDER two! Secondly, it's good to hear the news about OURY...

Another new & proud 250R '10 owner with lots of work to do!

I was looking for something like this, but the cheapest one that I found was for $20. Also, I think the one for the 250r is just two pin, not three. I'll just try the diodes since I'll be behind the dash anyway, and if the rate of repetition is too high, then I'll just have to buy a flasher...

    Reliably, Reasonably Price Tires?

How'd you do that? I mean, I've got some ratchet ties I can tie the new rubbers down to the rear seat with. Then I can just hi tail it to toes who'll probably do it for $40... and maybe even give me a beer [emoji14]

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

I was offered $1000 for one of the '91 GS500 in etobicoke, but a quick flash of a light into the gas tank and engine saw the internal task rusting and water on top of the oil. I was hoping it would be a wolf and sheep's clothing since the paint job looked recent, but it was actually a cow that...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Like Rob Ford crack? Or do you mean fender damage? I didn't encounter any MDMA, but I saw a few 91 GS500, Kawi elimination 250s and a first gen 250, but they were all slightly scuffed. It can't be helped I suppose. I did a pretty number to my bike on its first wet commute. Just gotta patch it...

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

I don't know if they're original, but the bike already had spools too. They're just egg yolk yellow, so I'm guessing not real, but similar like stands. They don't have the one extended arm as an easy to use lever, so it makes it hard to use with one hand. I thought 250Rs would have been...

    Reliably, Reasonably Price Tires?

I will keep this in mind. I've been seeing people say it's cheaper to just bring in the rims and get the tires installed... but the thing is, other than the family car, I don't really drive much. I'd rather not haul my tires on the back of my bike or on transit. I also don't care much for the...

    Reliably, Reasonably Price Tires?

Maybe not PR3/4, but they've got the set up I want. I'd like a PR 3 for the front, and PS for the rear, and pete's got them. If anyone has something to recommend for a small bike like the 250R, I'm looking for something similar to the traits that a 2CT tire would provide for longevity and...

Another new & proud 250R '10 owner with lots of work to do!

Thanks! I'll follow up with some project photos once the parts come in a month's time! Update: After starting a new thread in general and group buys for tires and HIDs respectively, I jumped the gun a bit and purchased all the hardware last night. Not tires yet, but not I'm getting $100 HIDs...

    Reliably, Reasonably Price Tires?

Anyone want to share their secret or knowhow as to when/where to get new rubbers before the season starts and hi demand drives prices up? Is it better to go to the US and pick them up, or are there some GTA gems to provide our loyalty to? (Looking for Michelin Pilot Street/Road 3s for my '10...
