Picked up a 2015 300ABS in white - no room at all for negotiation - got a couple hundred knocked off but only cuz I paid cash...went to 3 different dealers. $6800 out the door. The 2015 300 ABS SE comes in black - looks sweet if you like the graphics kit. Kawi has a mega cash sale going on now...

Some insurance companies may ask for your course certificate and yes apply a discounted rate. It all depends on whether or not they are referencing your M class licensing in the policy.

So my advice is to buy new equipment - helmets and gloves will form to the user - I think of it like buying a used pair of shoes...you also won't know if the helmet has ever been dropped or how it was stored - this is a huge compromise in safety. Get fitted properly and save up for your own...
